McDonalds received planning consent for a drive through restaurant as part of the Westgate development on the edge of Abergavenny, immediately adjacent to the Heads of the Valley Road. It is expected that the new facility will open during 2016. The restaurant will adjoin a Premier Inn hotel, Brewers Fayre restaurant and Costa Costa Coffee drive through restaurant.
